interActive

interActive offers a dynamic learning experience which brings new reader-centred approaches to library practice. The course aims to re-frame the traditional collection-based approach to delivering library services in order to enrich the library experience for customers.

interActive offers a mix of ideas, examples and evidence to stimulate new thinking and asks you to apply this in a series of practical tasks which will test the theory and build evidence from your own experience.

The website is packed with free resources for projects, staff training and readers' advisory. As well as the tasks which contribute to assessment, there are many other suggestions and project examples which you can bookmark to return and explore any time after you finish the course. Access to the course is not time-limited - you choose your own pace and after you finish you can continue to be part of the international interActive community for as long as you wish.
